The European cultural itineraries are also an instrument of international and intercultural dialogue. In particular in the Mediterranean area, many itineraries have been recognized by the Council of Europe; for example Al Andalus, about the Arab heritage in Spain, and the Itinerary of Olive Tree, about the important culture of these plant in Greece, cooperate together with the Italian itineraries.
