Education Service

The interpretation is the art that allows men to understand the things’ meaning. The shamen, the ballad singers, the ancient narrators and the other passe communities social figures, hand down orally their own culture and history, from generation to generation. Before the books and the modern recording instruments, these oral traditions were fundamental for the cultural survival and evolution. In the modern context, the interpretation is the term used to described communicative activities exploited to develop the comprehension and the experience about protected natural areas, meseums, historic-archaeological sites. The interpretation’s aim is to reveal meanings and correlations through the use of original objects, direct experiences, illustrative medium or simply to tell a story. (Interpretative Planning Group)
