Didactic laboratories
The didactic laboratories and the discovery paths are a day long heritage pedagogy activities proposed by the Phoenicians’Route and the “I locandieri”. The partecipants will be assisted by a cultural mediator each 15-20 of them. The laboratories cost is € 8.00 for partecipant. The “hands know” lab. cost is € 9.00. The cost is € 6.00 for the organized groups of minimun 20 partecipants. The trasports and the possible lunch are excluded by cost.
Our proposals:
“The hands know” the ceramics the weave the wood the mosaic work the cart
Contents: an expert will show you the history, the kinds, the evolution techniques of the various craft of the selected theme.
Practical activities: a teacher will guide you in the planning and the production of little handiworks.
“The didactic farm”

Contents: an expert will explain you the way from the olive, the wheat, the grape and the milk creates the final product; the various phases of the trasformation, the tools, the tipologies and the tipical products quality.
“Archeotrekking” Particular and unique itineraries at Selinunte’s areas. The word “archeotrekking” originallt meant “walking along the ox-car traces”. Today it also means walking along paths, muletracks and trails that snake into fascinate and striking natural landscapes. The archeotrekking is an experience in which archaeology became part and parcel of paths made of culture, parfumes, flavours and emotions.
